Kilmarnock pair could move abroad despite being offered deals

Kilmarnock manager Gary Locke says Alexei Eremenko and Manuel Pascali have been offered new deals, but both are seriously considering moving abroad.
Killie captain Pascali, who missed the 2-1 defeat to Ross County, has options in his native Italy while playmaker Eremenko may move to Asia.
"Alexei's at the stage of his career when this is probably the last contract he's going to sign," said Locke.
"There is in interest in him from abroad as well."
Striker Lee Miller tweeted on Saturday that this would be his last match for the club. The former Aberdeen and Dundee United forward scored once in an injury interrupted campaign.

Miller geht also auf jeden Fall und auch Eremenko, der sagt, dass das neue Angebot unverschämt sei und er in Schottland sonst nur zu Celtic gehen würde. Für seine Frau und seine bald zwei Kinder will er an einen warmen Ort am Meer ziehen und laut Locke zieht er da wohl auch Asien in Erwägung. Pascali meinte zuletzt noch, dass er bleiben wolle, scheint sich das Ganze jetzt aber nochmal zu überlegen.

Kilmarnock: Sammy Clingan among five first-team exits

Sammy Clingan's two-and-a-half year spell at Kilmarnock has ended after he was named among five experienced first-team players being released.
The Northern Ireland cap is joined by fellow midfielder Paul Cairney, defender Chris Chantler, plus strikers Lee Miller and Nathan Eccleston.
Skipper Manuel Pascali and midfielder Alexei Eremenko are also likely exits.
Both have been offered one-year contracts, but they have indicated that the offers are not acceptable.

Kilmarnock sign Jamie MacDonald as the goalkeeper exits Falkirk

Jamie MacDonald has earned a return to the Scottish Premiership, with the 29-year-old goalkeeper signing for Kilmarnock after leaving Falkirk.

He has agreed a three-year contract as he is re-united with manager Gary Locke, who was his boss at Hearts.

Kilmarnock FC are delighted to announce Kallum Higginbotham has signed for the Club on a two year deal.

Manchester born Higginbotham started his youth career at Salford City. In 2007, Kallum signed for League One side Rochdale where he became a first team regular in his initial season. In 2008/09 he scored the league's Goal of the Year with a stunning volley from the halfway line in a 4-2 victory over Accrington Stanley.

NEW SIGNING: Kris Boyd

Kilmarnock Football Club are pleased to confirm striker Kris Boyd has today signed a three year deal with the Club.

The new deal makes it Kris’s third time at the Club having worn the blue and white stripes from 2000 to 2006 and in 2013/14 when he re-joined Killie after playing for a number of Clubs including Rangers and Middlesbourgh.

Leven who played his youth football at Rangers joined Kilmarnock as a player in 2004 staying at the Club until 2007.

Kilmarnock Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of left-back Stevie Smith on a three year deal.

29 year old Smith signed his first professional contract with Rangers in 2002 and stayed at the cub until 2010. Following his departure he went onto play for Norwich City, Aberdeen, Preston North End and Portland Timbers before returning to the Ibrox side in 2013.
