Conor McAleny becomes first January signing

Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Conor McAleny on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

The 26-year-old forward arrives at Rugby Park from English League One outfit Fleetwood Town and becomes our first signing of the January window.

A product of Everton’s academy Conor made his English Premier League debut in December 2011, replacing Phil Neville in a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates.

Alex Bruce on joining Killie on six-month deal

Alex Bruce says he knew he wanted to join Killie as soon as he took in Kilmarnock’s win over Rangers at Rugby Park.
The central defender took in last month’s 2-1 triumph over the Ibrox side and was blown away with the atmosphere and the team’s performance.
After joining Killie until the summer subject to international clearance, Alex said: "The biggest thing when I came to watch the game against Rangers was the work ethic of the lads and the way they dug in for one another.

Canadian international joins on loan from Liverpool

Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce the arrival of Liam Millar on loan from Liverpool, subject to international clearance.
Born in Toronto, the 19-year-old attacker has four senior caps for Canada having made his debut against New Zealand in March 2018.
Liam will spend the remainder of the 2018/19 season with Killie under the guidance of manager Steve Clarke, who was previously assistant manager at Anfield.

Celtic fans lambasted by Kilmarnock's Kris Boyd after coin throwing and 'sectarian' abuse



Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd has criticised Celtic fans after being hit by a coin and subjected to what he considers sectarian abuse on Sunday.

Seats were also damaged at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park, where visiting fans invaded the pitch after Scott Brown's winner.

Celtic say they and Killie will "fully investigate this matter".

"The shouts and abuse I can handle as a bit of banter," Boyd, 35, said on Instagram. "Getting hit with a coin, though, is a step too far."


Police Scotland has confirmed that an investigation is under way "following a number of reported incidents" at Rugby Park and that officers will be reviewing CCTV footage.

Kilmarnock and Motherwell will meet on Thursday to discuss a rearranged date after their Scottish Premiership match was abandoned because of fog.

Neither side have a game this weekend, with Kilmarnock's next match against St Mirren not until 11 March, while Motherwell host Hamilton on 9 March.

Referee John Beaton said he had "no choice" after fog enveloped Rugby Park towards the end of the first half.

"It was very difficult for the players to see the ball in the air," he said.

Kilmarnock: Alan Power signs new three-year deal

Kilmarnock midfielder Alan Power has signed a three-year extension to his contract, which ties him to Rugby Park until summer 2022.

The 31-year-old has made 68 appearances - scoring once - since signing from Lincoln City in 2017 and has been a mainstay of Steve Clarke's side.

Irishman Power said he was "absolutely thrilled" by the deal.
