Dundee FC --- The Dees

Forfar Athletic have signed striker Bryan Deasley on a season-long loan deal from Dundee.

The 21-year-old made his first-team debut for the First Division club in 2005 and is a former young player of the year award winner.

But he made only 13 appearances last season and manager Jocky Scott has made some big-money signings this summer.

Dundee take loan of Russ

FORMER Aberdeen skipper Russell Anderson could make a shock return to Scotland with Dundee.

First Division big-spenders Dundee have signed Slovakian international Maros Klimpl on a three-year deal.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan with Motherwell from Danish club Danish club FC Midtjylland.

Das finde ich niedlich, ist wohl aber auch nicht schwer, in Schottland ist wohl jeder Verein, der momentan mehr als 150,- EURO für neue Spieler ausgibt ein Zitat

Na ja, vergiss nicht das Gehalt, immerhin hat Dundee Klimpl mehr Gehalt geboten als Aberdeen und Greuther Fürth, die ihn auch wollten.

Dundee have signed former Aberdeen and Ross County goalkeeper Derek Soutar as cover until January.

First choice number one Rab Douglas will miss three weeks after a calf injury forced him to leave the field during Tuesday's win over Aberdeen.

The Dark Blues' other goalkeeper Tony Bullock faces a possible ban after his red card at Queen of the South in the league last weekend.

Soutar returns to the club where he began his career in 1998.

Griffiths gets young player award

Dundee striker Leigh Griffiths is the Irn-Bru Phenomenal young player of the month for September.

The 19-year-old has netted eight times for the Dark Blues since his summer transfer from Livingston.

Dundee's Jocky Scott is the Irn-Bru Phenomenal First Division manager of the month for September.

The 61-year-old, in his third stint at the helm at Dens Park, endured a rocky start to the season after a high-profile summer spending spree.

First Division outfit Dundee will make a £500,000 bid for Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson in January.

Robertson joined United from their city rivals in summer of 2008, but Dundee investor Calum Melville wants him back.

Melville believed Robertson would be out of contract next summer, but has been informed that the player's current deal at Tannadice runs until 2011.

"He's our number one target," Melville told the BBC. "We'll be an SPL club again and he wants to play for us."

Robertson has been a huge success at Tannadice winning his first Scotland cap in a friendly against Argentina after joining the club.
